Terri A. Erbacher, PhD has over 25 years of experience practicing as a school psychologist. She taught for over 13 years as a clinical associate professor at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and founded her private practice, Erbacher Consulting Associates (https://erbacherconsulting.com), in 2014. Dr. Terri is an international presenter providing training, coaching and consultation with schools on areas of expertise including school crisis response, trauma, threat assessment as well as suicide prevention, assessment, intervention, and postvention. Dr. Terri has written numerous book chapters and articles, including her seminal text entitled Suicide in Schools, with a second edition released in 2023.
Dr. Terri and has held many board roles across Pennsylvania, including the executive committee of the Pennsylvania Youth Suicide Prevention Initiative, past president of the Philadelphia chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, past clinical advisor for Survivors of Suicide, Inc., and past crisis committee chair for the Association of School Psychologists in Pennsylvania. Dr. Terri’s passion for helping children and schools in crisis has led to her receiving multiple awards for her service to the community including those from the Survivors of Suicide, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and she was honored to have previously been named Pennsylvania’s School Psychologist of the Year.
Dr. Terri lives in Media and enjoys experiencing life and finding new adventures with her daughter. She is excited to be join the ECC Board and give back to this amazing community.
