Dr. June Elcock Messam


Dr. June Elcock-Messam is a Board Certified pediatrician who works in Wallingford, PA. Her personal mission is to improve the lives of as many children as she can. She is double boarded in General Pediatrics and Child Abuse Pediatrics and has worked for the last two decades in Delaware County. Dr. M or Dr. Messam (as most of her patients refer to her) completed her education in Pennsylvania. She graduated from Swarthmore High School, Haverford College, and The Medical College of Pennsylvania. In addition to her private practice, Media Pediatrics, she teaches pediatric residents from Crozer Chester Medical Center’s pediatric residency program.

Dr. Messam is an Officer of the Delaware County Medical Society and is the Editor of its quarterly magazine, Delaware County Medicine and Health.  Dr. Messam’s first exposure to the non-profit world occurred in the early 1990s when she worked for the Philadelphia Children’s Network. Since this experience, she has continued to give back to the community in a variety of ways and has worked with a team of volunteers in the community to do so. Every Child Counts, Inc., Collaborative Voices for Children is Dr. Messam’s way of continuing her work and expanding it to maximize the number of children who receive services.

Dr. Messam is supported by loving, supportive family members and friends and currently lives with her husband and their four children in Delaware County.
